Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and Attorney General Steve Six have, in recent days and weeks, both become embroiled in controversies regarding abortion. They join agencies embroiled in scandal such as the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts and the Kansas Department of Health & Environment, who have long been under fire for actions that have served to shield abortionists from discipline and/or prosecution.
For the convenience of those who wish to make their views known, we have provided brief backgrounds and contact information for the key offices involved in the Kansas abortion corruption scandal.

Governor Kathleen Sebelius
Gov. Sebelius was caught trying to conceal a private dinner she hosted at her official residence, Cedar Crest, for late-term abortionist George R. Tiller last year during a time when he was under criminal investigation and intense scrutiny from the Legislature over illegal late-term abortions. Then, to make matters worse, after photos of the event were released by Operation Rescue, she told conflicting stories in a vain attempt to explain away her political connection to Tiller.

Attorney General Steve Six
Recently unsealed court documents show that Attorney General Six took overt actions to prevent a key witness from testifying against Planned Parenthood in a criminal case that involves 107 charges in Johnson County. Meanwhile, in Sedgwick County, Six’s office is allowing a criminal case against George Tiller that involves 19 charges to stall. He also attempted to quash a grand jury subpoena for evidence in his possession regarding Tiller, and only recently complied with the subpoena after the Kansas Supreme Court ordered him to.

Kansas State Board Of Healing Arts
In addition, the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts continues its investigation into Tiller and his associates, abortionists Shelley Sella and Ann Kristin Neuhaus, for various violations of Kansas abortion laws, ethics, and the standard of care. There has been a major shakeup at the KSBHA and it appears there finally may be some movement on these cases. In the meantime, viable babies that Kansas laws were meant to protect remain at risk.

Kansas Department of Health & Environment
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment was caught trying to deny key evidence to the prosecution of Planned Parenthood when they refused to honor subpoenas issued by the office of District Attorney Phill Kline. In addition, there is evidence that the KDHE coached abortionists like Tiller how to fill out their state-mandated forms so as to not reveal the true reasons for each post-viability abortion, as was mandated by the Legislature.
