Bakersfield, CA – The FPA Women’s Heath abortion business in Bakersfield, California, has had its share of problems over the years, but now it is about to get worse.
Deteriorating patient safety is already an urgent concern at this abortion business. What started out in 2012 as one or two calls per year for emergency medical transport from FPA, has grown to seven documented incidents last year alone.
Contributing to the increased risks are the abortionists hired the FPA Women’s Health abortion chain.
For example, there was the “Playboy Abortionist” Alexander Simopoulos, a Beverly Hills based cosmetic surgeon specializing in female genital cosmetic surgery for celebrities. He once appeared in a television episode of Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker, where he confessed that most of his relationships with women are based on sex. (Women considering any treatment by him should stop and think about that.) He quit the Bakersfield FPA after several botched abortions caused his side job at the abortion clinic to become public.
Then there was Donald Clyde Willis, who presided over the seven emergencies at this facility in 2017, and another one earlier this year. Willis has known mental health issues and once tried unsuccessfully to commit suicide by shooting himself in the forehead. His personal problems were reflected in his sloppy work. Local pro-life leader Tim Palmquist believes Willis has permanently moved on since a tow truck recently hauled away his private vehicle that had been abandoned at the abortion facility for weeks.
Introducing Gorli Harish
Now, the Bakersfield FPA Women’s Health facility has hired abortionist Gorli Harish, an aging abortionist who worked for years in West Virginia, wreaking havoc on women and killing babies at his Kanawha Surgi-Center in Charleston, which shut down last year.
Harish’s West Virginia medical license profile shows him as a 1971 graduate of Mysore Medical School, located in Southern India. It also shows three disciplinary actions taken against Harish from 1993 to 2016, in addition to at least 13 medical malpractice suits, 12 of which he settled for unstated monetary amounts.
In 1993, Harish was ordered by the West Virginia Board of Medicine to undergo a “mini residency,” learn how to keep proper medical records, and submit to peer reviews after three women filed malpractice suits against him.
In 1996, surrendered his medical license and checked into an alcohol rehabilitation facility. Five months later, the West Virginia Board of Medicine reinstated his license, placed him on probation for two years, and implemented other restrictions, including meeting with an addiction recovery monitor and attending Alcoholics Anonymous.
In 2016, Harish was fined $4,975 for lying about having completed his Continuing Medical Education requirements. Instead of completing the required 50 hours, he had actually only done 1 hour and fifteen minutes.
According to Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, things are likely to go from bad to worse with Harish presiding over the operating rooms at this high-volume clinic that is already known as one of the worst in the nation.
“The fact that FPA can only hire the incompetent, perverted, mentally compromised, or addicted says a lot about the murky cesspool of abortionists they have to draw from,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Hiring Harish with all his problems shows that abortion profits are more important to the abortion business than women’s lives. Women of Bakersfield, beware!”
