San Francisco, CA — Testimony has concluded in the punitive RICO case brought by Planned Parenthood against pro-life activists, including Operation Rescue’s Troy Newman, who exposed Planned Parenthood’s participation in the illegal trafficking of aborted baby tissues and organs.
It is a trial that has had its high and low moments.
Of note recently was the admission under oath by a representative from Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR) that is still has a contract with Planned Parenthood to supply them aborted baby body parts. That means the organ trafficking continues — and so do Planned Parenthood’s potential crimes!
In another development, sources tell Operation Rescue that Troy Newman was never called to testify during this trial. However, over the objections of Troy’s ACLJ legal team, the judge read a list of “negative inferences” about him that the jury has the option to consider during deliberations, which is expected to begin in the middle of next week. This is something that seemed very unfair!
Closing arguments are expected from both sides when court resumes on Tuesday.
“Please continue to pray for Troy and the rest of the pro-life defendants as well as their legal teams, which have had to labor under adverse conditions during this trial,” said Cheryl Sullenger of Operation Rescue. “Your prayers are being felt and are having an effect!”
