Planned Parenthood Admitted it Sells Baby Body Parts, Slithered Out of Prosecution, Newman and Other Pro-Life Investigators Punished Instead
San Francisco, CA – Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, along with several other pro-life activists, lost a motion to prevent Planned Parenthood from collecting on a punitive $16 million judgment in a case involving the trafficking of aborted baby body parts. The ruling was issued on December 6, 2023.
Planned Parenthood sued the activists for the 2015 release of a series of undercover videos detailing the Abortion Cartel’s secret participation in what appeared to be illegal profit-taking from the trafficking of tissue and organs harvested from the bodies of babies aborted at Planned Parenthood facilities. Newman and the other activists were wrongly convicted in a San Francisco Federal Court under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) resulting in a monetary judgment in excess of $16 million.
“I have always maintained my innocence and will continue to do so,” said Newman. “There can be little doubt that Planned Parenthood’s substantial political clout contributed to what I consider to be an injustice against those of us who exposed proof of Planned Parenthood’s grisly baby-parts trafficking practices.”
Evidence and testimony presented during the trial seemed to exonerate the pro-life activists yet was ignored.
It was determined during the trial that the undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood abortionists and executives negotiating the sale of tissue and organs harvested from aborted babies was accurate and not “doctored,” as media organizations falsely proclaimed.
The so-called “forensic audit” of the videos conducted by the now-disgraced, political, dirty- tricks organization, Fusion GPS, which alleged that the videos were “deceptively edited,” was unveiled to be a complete lie.
Planned Parenthood was even forced to admit the veracity of the videos in court.
Despite state and federal laws against the sale of aborted babies’ remains for profit, Planned Parenthood still engages in the practice today.
Planned Parenthood’s attorneys may now attempt to collect on the multi-million-dollar judgment. Newman vows to use every legal means available to resist collection efforts and fight to clear his name of this wrongful conviction.
“The public deserves the truth about the horrific nature of the business of abortion, and I will continue to expose the barbaric practices of Planned Parenthood, despite this setback,” said Newman.
“I will not be intimidated into silence.”
