Abortion, ‘Gender-Affirming Care,’ and More
Pittsburg, Kansas – On Tuesday, Operation Rescue shared documents revealing Planned Parenthood’s shady methods of using a multiple-layer organization structure to sneak into the small college town of Pittsburg, Kansas. Since the documents were released, the abortion giant published the new location on its website revealing plans to push dangerous abortion pills, surgical abortions, and “gender-affirming care.”
According to Planned Parenthood’s own press release, the facility is not slated to open until the fall. Under normal circumstances, it would seem odd to publish a clinic as if it is open — before appointments can be scheduled.
“It looks like Planned Parenthood got backed into a corner after its covert tactics were publicly exposed, forcing it to do damage control,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Planned Parenthood likes to set up shop in college towns where it has access to vulnerable young adults.”
The median age in the small town that houses Pittsburg State University is only 25.7. That compares to a median age of 38.8 in the U.S. in general.
“Imagine you chose a university in a small Midwestern town, thinking there is some degree of safety there, then learning that Planned Parenthood is explicitly targeting your child,” said Newman. “No wonder the tax-funded, baby-killing organization employs surreptitious methods to keep concerned parents uninformed about the incredibly immoral bait it plans to dangle in front of their children.”
The so-called “health clinic” is less than two miles from the university campus and right around the corner from the local hospital and popular shopping outlets students frequent.
“We must pray and fast for our children and grandchildren,” added Newman. “We must keep fighting for them through every legal avenue available to us – including our vote in November.”
