Thursday rally and press conference to call for enforcement, not changes to late-abortion laws
Topeka, KS — Operation Rescue President Troy Newman is scheduled to present testimony before a joint interim legislative committee on Friday, September 7, about the non-enforcement of the Kansas ban on late-term abortions and the consequences of that non-enforcement.
“Because the laws have not been correctly enforced, it has created a crisis in Kansas that has needlessly cost of the lives and safety of women and their viable pre-born babies,” said Newman. “We don’t need new laws, we just need to properly enforce the ones we have.”
Newman will also be a featured speaker at a press conference and pro-life rally on Thursday, September 6, on the steps of the Kansas State Capitol, which is being co-hosted by Women Influencing the Nation, Concerned Women of America, Operation Rescue, and Kansans for Life.
All pro-life supporters who possibly can are urged to come to Topeka for Thursday’s event.
