Clinic Owned by Notorious Partial-Birth Abortionist Recently Purchased by Planned Parenthood
By Anne Reed
Dayton, Ohio – On November 15, a man called 911 to report that a woman was lying on the ground of a parking lot in Kettering, OH, a suburb of Dayton, hemorrhaging three weeks after an abortion. The couple apparently attempted to return to the abortion clinic, Women’s Med Dayton, but mistakenly parked at the pregnancy resource center across the street. It was there, in the parking lot, that she collapsed on the ground.
Operation Rescue confirmed with the pregnancy center, Women’s Centers of Ohio, that it had closed an hour before the incident and had no knowledge of the emergency that took place on its property.
See image below for a map showing the vicinity of the two facilities and where the bleeding woman dropped to the ground.
The caller, who was apparently the woman’s boyfriend or husband, stated she had “lost a lot of blood,” and had “blood clots everywhere.”
When the dispatcher asked if she was acting normal, the man reiterated, “She’s laying in the parking lot.”
Suspicious Change of Ownership
Following this frightening emergency, the notorious Women’s Med Dayton was apparently purchased by Planned Parenthood.
Operation Rescue began researching a possible transfer of ownership in late December after receiving a tip from a local Dayton resident. No official change of ownership documents were available at that time. At last check, the clinic is still listed with the Ohio Das an ambulatory surgical facility under the name “Women’s Med Dayton.”
“Despite no documented change of ownership in state records, this clinic, previously owned by infamous partial-birth abortionist Martin Haskell, is newly listed as “Dayton Surgical Center” on the official Planned Parenthood website.
Operations Rescue has reported on a large body of evidence relating to the actions of this egregious facility and documented a long history of Haskell’s disturbing, murderous behaviors over the years.
In keeping with the shoddy practices this facility is known for, Planned Parenthood is following suit by publishing that the notoriously dangerous facility performs abortions up to 24 weeks gestation even though abortion is only legal up to 22 weeks in Ohio. See screenshot below.
The Women’s Med Dayton license was set to expire in 2020, yet it continues to operate under a “Pending Renewal” designation. That means this clinic has not had a valid license since 2020. (The listing under “Women’s Med Center of Dayton,” refers to the clinic before changing its name in an attempt to reinstate licensure.)
“When a state allows abortionists to operate with little to no accountability,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, “it is no wonder terrible things happen – like a woman lying on the ground hemorrhaging weeks after an abortion!
“We do not know if Haskell has now been hired as medical director and is still there killing babies and endangering women. Haskell or not, it doesn’t look like things will get any better based on what we are already seeing.”
