Washington, DC – Last week, pending a “rigorous” review, President Trump suspended security clearances held by anyone working for the law firm Perkins Coie LLP.

Perkins Coie is best known for hiring Fusion GPS to manufacture the infamous 2016 Steele Dossier. However, the law firm also works for Planned Parenthood. In fact, the day before Trump suspended Perkins Coie’s clearance, the law firm won a case for Planned Parenthood Arizona, permanently blocking the state’s 15-week ban and opening up Arizona to unfettered abortion through all nine months. 

“Operation Rescue has been sounding the alarm on this firm and its sleazy co-conspirator, Fusion GPS, for almost a decade,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “A rigorous review of their dirty political deeds is certainly welcomed by our team.”

In 2015, when Perkins Coie’s long-time client Planned Parenthood was suddenly caught on video participating in the illegal sale of aborted baby body parts, the abortion giant hired Fusion GPS to produce its own “Steele Dossier” and publicly discredit the investigative journalists with Center for Medical Progress who uncovered the truth. 

Fusion GPS, which had no credentials for forensic video analysis, created a quickly circulated report falsely claiming that the Center for Medical Progress videos had been “deceptively edited” and were, therefore, fake. 

While Fusion GPS and Planned Parenthood were selling this story to any media outlet careless enough to run it, the legal group Alliance Defending Freedom commissioned an analysis of the CMP videos with Coalfire Systems, Inc., a company that does have credentials in forensic video analysis.

Coalfire’s report confirmed there was no audio manipulation in the videos. The videos were edited for length but nothing presented was out of context. The Planned Parenthood executives caught on video were not misunderstood – they were callously haggling over the price of aborted baby body parts.

Besides enlisting the seedy help of Fusion GPS, Planned Parenthood also hired the public relations firm SKDKickerbocker (SKDK) to help with damage control following the release of CMP’s damning videos. SKDK was also working for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, and went on to represent the campaigns of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in 2020, as well as the Harris presidential campaign in 2024. 

“Perkins Coie, Fusion GPS , SKDK – they are all peas in a pod – all willing pawns of Big Abortion, and especially of Planned Parenthood. Through powerful political ties – including direct connection to the Biden/Harris White House, one of the most pro-abortion administrations this country has ever seen – they have protected, expanded, and supported the killing of children in the womb. Let’s absolutely give them a rigorous review.”
