Wichita, KS – Pro-life groups will hold a service on January 22, 2014, in Wichita, Kansas, at Operation Rescue Headquarters, the site of a former abortion clinic, to mark the 41st memorial of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that decriminalized abortion in America.
The service will feature an announcement by Operation Rescue about a new effort to close abortion clinics in Kansas with details concerning how the public can participate.
Wichita Roe v. Wade Memorial Details:
When: Wednesday, January 22, 2014, 6-7 p.m.
Where: Operation Rescue Headquarters, 3013 E. Central Ave., Wichita, KS 67214
Speakers: Mark Geitzen, Kansas Coalition for Life and Cheryl Sullenger, Operation Rescue
“With the opening of an abortion clinic in Wichita last year using out-of-state abortionists with no ties to the community, there is a greater urgency than ever to seek protections for women and their babies on the local level,” said Sullenger. “The best way to honor the hundreds of thousands of babies who have died at Kansas abortion clinics since 1973 is to protect others from suffering their fate.”
The public is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
